Spandan 2005

Success has always been in the very nature of VIPSians and the proof for the same was very clear with the outstanding success of Spandan 2005, the Mega Media Fest organized by the BJ(MC) students of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies. It is an initiative of the students of VIPS to understand and exercise the practical implications of Event Management.

With sponsors like ONGC and Microsoft and media Partners like "Hindustan Times", "Red FM", "The Statesman and the Pioneer", the fest was a benchmark for all other colleges practising the same tradition.

Organized in the college premises itself for four days, Spandan offered unprecedented opportunities to reach out to over 5000 Media students across 30 colleges.

Exhibiting 27 competitive events and seven Non- competitive events, the festival provides a forum for ability and intellect to converge. Organized from November 18 to 21, the fest had  a hint of all the shades, right from Radio Jockeying to Photo Exhibition.
